Student Advisers provide advice, support, and assistance for students. Visiting an Adviser can help you gain perspective and clarity on issues and helps you explore options more clearly. Student advisers can help you manage the administrative side of university life including understanding procedures and processes. Some issues that an Adviser can help with are: academic skills; attendance difficulties; relocation and impacts on life; disability, illness; finance; and other personal issues. Referral to other services such as counselling, or careers & employment, academic development, and to other people who can assist you.

Enrolment Variations

Sub Deans and Faculty Officers can approve enrolment variations, give course approval and help you interpret the rules/completion requirements of your degree.

 

Academic Administration

Michelle Hanstein, Assistant Manager, Academic Administration. Michelle is available from 3.00-5.00pm on Monday afternoons at Inveresk Campus. Alternatively, Michelle can be contacted at the UTAS Newnham campus for the remainder of the week.
