Helen Trenos is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and has worked in Australia as a professional stage and television actor, director, teacher and theatre-maker for twenty years.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) and Master of Arts in Theatre Practices (with High Distinction). Her PhD will be formally conferred in March 2009.
Her major research interests focus on investigating the creativity of acting and how this impacts on actor-training. Helen is currently formulating CREATICS –an approach to actor-training, designed to enhance the actor’s creativity and presence for the immediacy of performance.
