Courses within the Sculpture studio explore a broad range of sculptural practice and techniques including introduction to three-dimensional studies, bronze casting, modeling from the figure, creating objects as body adornment (jewellery studio), metal and wood fabrication, soft sculpture and installation. Instruction in the use of a wide range o tools and materials is provided to enable students to fully realize the conceptual and visual possibilities. Students develop their own thematic interests and working processes and are encouraged to engage in contemporary practices of Sculpture. Studio theory and critique sessions are essential to the program.
