Each year the Country Club Tasmania provides a very generous sponsorship and Theatrical Development Award to a graduating Theatre student from the School of Visual and Performing Arts. This sponsorship allows for the professional placement of this student into a professional development role with the Academy of the Arts for one year. Country Club Tasmania have been supporting the development of actors in regional Tasmania for the past 17 years.
