Penny Mason is Head of Painting at the Academy of the Arts, University of Tasmania, Launceston.
Penny has had regular solo shows as well as been featured in numerous group exhibitions in a career spanning thirty years. Her work is represented in private and public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, the University of Tasmania and the Centre for Precision Technology, Hobart.
Penny has also curated many exhibitions and is a regular contributor to art and education focused conferences and journals.
