Robert Lewis is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), University of Tasmania, Monash University and RMIT. Robert has worked at the National Theatre Drama School, St Martins Youth Theatre and the Victorian College of the Arts short courses and summer schools.
Robert has directed and performed in many productions and voice coached for theatre, film and TV. He is a co-founder and member of a cross-disciplinary group 'Gesture Machine' and is researching new ways in which the voice can play an important focus point in theatre productions. Robert works at the Academy of the Arts, University of Tasmania as a voice and theatre lecturer.
